The irrigation well just west of one of the barns is equipped with a vertical hollow shaft, 40hp electric motor and is used as a back-up for the feedyard with the capability of supplying water to the 5,000 gallon pressurized storage tank.
Grain and supplement storage at the yard consists of: three elevated supplement tanks (one 16'diameter X 12height, one 10'diameter X 12'height, one 8'diameter X 14'height), one ground level supplement (or grain) storage tank with a cone bottom cement floor (16'diameter X 14'height), three ground level grain tanks with cone bottoms and cement floors (two-1,000,000lb capacity each and one-500,000lb capacity).
There are two residences for employees on the yard. The main home has approximately 1,407 sq.ft., two bedrooms, one bath, fireplace, central heating and air conditioning, a screened-in porch along the front of the house, dark brown metal roof, dark brown trim, white stucco exterior and is in good condition. The second home is a concrete block structure with white stucco exterior, two bedrooms, one bath, panelray heat, dark brown metal roof and dark brown trim.
